Cookie Policy
How Zytra uses cookies on this website and in the platform, and how you can control them.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on return visits and remember preferences. Similar technologies — including local storage and session storage — serve comparable purposes.
2. Cookies We Use
Zytra's website uses a minimal set of cookies, described below. We distinguish between strictly necessary cookies (which the site cannot function without) and analytics cookies (which require your consent).
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
zytra-cookie-consent |
Necessary | Records your cookie consent choice (accepted or declined) so the banner does not appear on every visit | 12 months (localStorage) |
| Session cookies | Necessary | Maintain session state for authenticated platform users. Not set on the public marketing website | Session (cleared on browser close) |
| Analytics cookies (if consented) | Analytics | Aggregate, anonymised usage data to help us understand how pages are used and improve the site. Set only if you click "Accept" on the consent banner | Up to 13 months |
We do not use advertising, tracking, or third-party social media cookies. No cookie data is sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
3. Legal Basis for Cookie Use
Strictly necessary cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a functional website. Analytics cookies are placed only with your explicit consent under India's DPDP Act 2023 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 5).
4. Third-Party Cookies
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) is loaded for typography. Fonts are served via a stylesheet link; no cookies are placed by Google Fonts on load. If you have previously visited Google services, your browser may already carry Google cookies — these are outside our control. We do not embed social media widgets, third-party video players, or advertising pixels on our marketing website.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control cookies in several ways:
- Consent banner: When you first visit the site, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the banner in the bottom-right corner.
- Withdraw consent: Clear the
zytra-cookie-consentkey from your browser's localStorage (Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage → zytratechnologies.com) to reset your preference and trigger the banner again. - Browser settings: You can block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site or platform from working correctly.
6. Cookies in the Zytra Platform
If you are an enterprise user of the Zytra platform (not just the marketing website), additional authentication and session cookies are used. These are strictly necessary for platform operation. Details are covered in your enterprise agreement and the platform's data processing documentation.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
8. Contact
For questions about this Cookie Policy or your data rights, contact us at privacy@zytratechnologies.com or write to Zytra Tech Solutions, BKC, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400051, India.
